With a strong partner to build on experience
ENAIP is the professional education association of Italian Christian Workers (ACLI). In Italy ENAIP promotes annually over 2.500 learning opportunities and projects with about 45.000 participants and is consdered the largest private provider of vocational adult education and in lifelong learning. Worldwide, nearly 5.000 lecturers and educators and trainers are engaged in our activities. ENAIP is co-founder of the European Association for Vocational Training (EVTA / AEFP) and is member of the European Centre for Labour Affairs (EZA).
In the Federal Republic of Germany ENAIP is present since 1964. As it happend in Belgium, France, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, but also in Argentina and Australia, ACLI and ENAIP joined Germany together with the various migratory movements. This supports ENAIP’s history and philosophy as self-help oranisation of Italian migrant workers.
The non-profit association has the following tasks:
- Promotion of the integration of young and adult people with migration biography into German society and labour market
- Design and promotion of vocational education and training measures for people with migration biography
- Implementation of education and training internships in Germany and other European countries
- Promotion of the Italian language and culture
During the last years ENAIP has focused on the following activities:
- Mother-tongue teaching for and promotion of education of Italian children
- Language courses for people with migration biography
- Vocational education offers for long-term unemployed
- Vocational counselling & guidance services for people with migration biography
- Practical professional experience in Europe at home and abroad
- Transnational pilot projects in the area of vocational education and improvement of employability
- Networking activities, promotion of migrant organisations and local development
- Research and services in the field of cross-border vocational adult education and lifelong learning
